In 2023 edition of IPL, each team will be playing 4 teams from their group twice then 4 teams from the other group once & one team from the other group twice. With a total of 10 teams and 5 teams in each group, each team will play 14 matches in the group stage before playoffs.
Each team will play twice or once based on the their position in the virtual groups. These matches will be played between Chennai Super Kings, Delhi Capitals, Punjab, Kolkata Knight Riders, Mumbai Indians, Rajasthan Royals, Royal Challengers Bangalore, Sunrisers Hyderabad, Gujarat Titans and Lucknow Super Giants. There are total of 74 matches that also include 2 qualifiers and 1 eliminator and then the finals. IPL 2023 schedule begins in March and the final will be played in May.
